Parity is cool but there can be too much parity.
I think the NFL has a little too much parity right now, but not disasterously so.
The salary cap is the main reason teams cannot stay together and I think that is a little depressing. There really is no need for the salary cap, imho, because the NFL makes so freaking much money and as a result of revenue sharing all the clubs have an extremely healthy minimum income.
