toomer got me a shitload more than my other receivers would have, so i'm still happy with the trade
minnesota's D sucking ass and Manning only throwing one td screwed me. a good rivalry nailbiter though, hopefully i'll have a shot at vengeance in the playoffs
The trade worked out for me as well...Go Portis! Woo!....What I like about this year is that there are only two teams that are out of the playoff hunt at this point....The next couple of weeks are going to be big in seeing who is going to the post-season!
what the fuck is up with people not checking their teams? it really pisses me off that games aren't fair because people have 2-4 positions empty because they never update their rosters. if you don't want to play, don't sign up. it's that simple:rolleyes

LOL....you instigator you! Honestly, I don't know. It sounds like something doable, But I think that the people you drop go into a waiver system. So if you are high on the waiver list, it could work, if you are not....you might loose a good player. I might be wrong about all this. Ahhhh, just found it...go to the team/coach list to find your waiver priority.
That's one of the things about the no cut list...Vick is on it...no sneaking...

Well! The horrible Christ Punchers have been HUMILIATED *twice* by Hapoel Beer Sheva. For those who don't remember, the first one ended in a swift 158:93. And it was without Hasselbeck, Brad Johnson and Shaun Alexander. Oh the humiliation of losing to Kordell Stewart. The second game, again, has ended in a swift 161:102. the cumulative point difference in these two games is *124*. As I said earlier, very humiliating.Quote:

However, and it's a big however, the all time best team in the Threshold-RPG league is playing the hated Discovery Channel on the season's most important game and I suspect the 144:54 magnificent win against the Discovery Channel in week 6 will return and the hated Christ Punchers could play the best team in the playoffs and be humiliated AGAIN.
It's a whole new season in the playoffs. The first season I was the last team to make the playoffs (I think I even needed a last week win to make it in), and managed to win it all! The regular season is almost over, no resting on your laurels!
Who would have believed The Christ Punchers would need the Bengals to make it to the playoffs? Well, after mutilating the Christ Punchers twice, Hapoel Beer Sheva brought them back to life, and is prepared to crush them again in the playoffs. I'll be waiting for you :)

WOO! Since no one else has done it, I want to congratulate Jidoe on a true ASSKICKING season!!! 1 loss is amazing! You deserve it after last year for sure, dude :)
Anyhow, Thanks to everyone for a fun year, it was a crazy ass season with all teh injuries, but it made for an exciting managing experience, definately a unique season.
Anyhow, plans are in the works to slightly modify the system next year, Bigger and better! Prizes! Titles! Parades!I hope you'll all be on board!

Yeah. I guess Serith is right. Congratulations to me on a true asskicking season, and congratulations to Falix for being the only person to defeat me (even though he lost a game he should have won in the final game).
I really enjoyed this season, much like I enjoyed last season (even though this year I had a slightly better year).
I guess not getting the best players in the draft doesn't mean all hope is lost. Who remembers Gadiantor released Kitna to a free agent status in the beginning on the season? Who would have believed Brad Johnson would get so much yardage and tds with the horrible receivers the Bucs have? And most importantly, who would have believed Ahman Green would be THAT amazing?
I guess not having injured players helped a bit too :)
