Which brings us to the next problem – God. Why in a country where people are supposed to be able to pursue religion however they wish does the commander in chief have to swear “god”? It’s not as bad as Sharia Law, but it’s a very slippery slope.
I've always found it amusing that the country with the most famous constitution behaves like this. The First Amendment speaks of free religion, and while it's true you can pretty much practice any religion you want in the US, if you don't believe in god (or to a lesser degree in Jesus) you are a class B citizen and certainly not worthy of any leadership role.
