They're a kick-ass hockey team from Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada). After the NHL made us send the Winnipeg Jets to Phoenix to become the Coyotes, we managed to pick up a team in the then IHL (International Hockey League). That league folded during the offseason of......'99 I think, and the team gladly joined up with the AHL (American Hockey League). They've been doing quite well over the last couple years, going to their division final the last...4yrs running, winning it once. They're currently sitting at 1st place in their division with a record of 15-4-0-0 for a total of 30pts, and are 3rd overall in the league with 5 and 3 games in hand on the 1st and 2nd place teams.Quote:
