You mean just like child vaccinations, haircuts, baths and dental appointments? Should the children who don't want those things be able to refuse them as well? The kid in the story posted by Pae involved a 15 year old, and in our society a 15 year old is not deemed old enough to make their own medical decisions like an adult. We allow kids to participate in those decisions, but when it comes right down to it, the child's guardian as the final say. I don't think there's anything unreasonable about this. Are you trying to argue that a 15 year old should be considered an adult?
The girl in the originally posted story was only 12 when she made the decision.
