IMO the super bowl mvp is the Giants pressure. Their D-line and LBs eliminated the Pats run game for the most part. They kept consistent and effective pressure on the pocket. With no run established and hitting Brady or just making him rush throws.... no long ball, no sustained drives w/ scores... no Pats offense.
At that point their Defense is out on the field so frequently they just get worn down. Kudos to the Giants offense for keeping their cool and patiently waiting for the Pats def to get tired and leave holes for scores and long passes and missed sacks.
I do not watch the Patriots religiously... but another thing was I felt there was nothing 'new' to their packages or def fronts.... Everything was stuff we've seen a dozen times. Am I mistaken in that observation?

You're totally right, Wrent. The Giants kept mixing up their defense, showing different looks and switching out personnel and the Pats simply didn't make the necessary adjustments. Plus the Giants were DOMINATING the line of scrimmage and beat Brady up nicely.
I totally feel that the real MVP was the Giants defense. Holding the No. 1 scoring team of all-time to two TDs is nothing short of amazing.

A nice tshirt for Pats fans
Maybe find one on ebay?

That's kind of cool actually, I always wondered where the losing team's pre-made champ shirts went.

I totally want one of those for my 2008 NY Giants Shrine.
