The thing is, it isn't OSU's fault they get all this insane media hype. A big part of the problem is they are the pride of the Big-10, which is a storied and famous conference. Unfortunately, the Big-10 is in a serious state of decline. I have read theories about this, with many alluding to serious unfixable problems like the recruiting advantages of warmer states. Maybe it is just cyclical, who knows.

Though Jim Tressel has done some questionable things with his own coach's poll ballot, so then again maybe its fair to slam them. I don't know.

DEAL! I'm not looking for a NC this year anyway, but the Tide is surprising me quite pleasantly! As far as the Dawgs falling like that, I'm totally surprised. UGA vs. Arizona State (the UNLV loss scares me, because how Az State has a LOT to prove).

Florida vs. Tenn

UGA over Az. State, 27-10.

Moreno: 149 yards rushing, 2 TDs.

Stafford: 285 yards passing, 1 TD, 0 INT

AJ Green: 8 receptions, 159 yards, 1 TD

Defense: held ASU to 4 yards rushing.

Down sides: Giving up 104 yards of penalties, kick off returns - 5 returns for 125 yards is BS (and 4 of those were for 116 to one guy, 29 yard average kick off return. LAME!).

You forgot to mention that one of those TD's was an -amazing- Superman-esque leap from about the 5yrd line while getting about 5.5-6ft of air before his quite graceful tuck-and-roll landing.

Not to mention LSU beat Auburn with a last minute touchdown. Fla slaughtered Tennessee. Vandy is now 4-0 and probably ranked now. And Bama beat the hell outta Arkansas. Life is good. SO... SEC 2- LAC10 1... and that 1 is Tennessee.

So on to yet another SEC Top 10 game this week! Unfortunately, that means either Bama or UGA has to fall. I just hope it's as good as LSU-AU was. I doubt either team will disappoint.

Aaaaaaand.......USC -LOST- to an unranked Oregon State last night, 27-21. The Beavers actually held USC scoreless until the 3rd quarter, but by then it was already in the bag. They'd been up 21-0 until then, and hung on through USC's attempted 21-pt comeback for the win.

This had better fucking drop USC -out- of 1st place overall, and -should- mean that right now the BCS contenders are in the SEC and Big 12.

Here's to the Dawgs wiping the floor with the Tide tomorrow night, and continuing on their way to a BCS title and Heisman Trophy.

I almost agree. USC SHOULD drop. I was so watching that. I had to bump my buddy and ask if I'm really that drunk, or is ORST really decimating USC?

As far as Georgia wiping the floor with us... ain't happening. As everyone can see. But I'm not counting UGA out unless this lead sticks to the last minute. Will continue comment after the game... ROLL TIDE!!

They forgot to mention one key factor in the article. Luck. We were DAMN lucky! On the other hand, Georgia was unlucky in that aspect. Sorry, guys. The dawgs suffered far too many injuries this year.

On the other hand, what about the massive firing of coaches? Tuberville is the latest! Okay, I can't stand Fulmer, and the Tennessee program has been on a decline for a while. But Croom was doing a decent job. And Tuberville, former head of the Demonic Minions of Satan, did an awesome job (to my utter dismay) at Auburn with the exception of his first and last years. Three SEC coaches in one season? Isn't this a bit ridiculous?
