You heard what really happened in the first article.

All that's changed is the spin.

It's PC flatulence like this which makes me long for the days when the legal system is computerized. You can't accuse a computer of being racist.

Of course, it also makes me want rule 303 back...

I'm sorry, skews my view?! 6 individuals beat up on 1 individual after they had knocked him unconscious. That is a dishonorable, callous, and above all, criminal act. Everything else is gravy.

Seems like your typical (sub?)conscious twisting of white guilt to seem like 'right' to me.

Someone somewhere is racist therefore the blatant felony actions of the Jena Six should be ignored and excused. It's not their fault they tried to kill a teenager, they were forced to because "the man" said something to scare them.

I really fail to see any valid reason that the Jena Six (especially those couple who have previous felony charges) should not be held accountable for their actions.

EVEN IF there is/was some racist or racially motivated remark made by anyone directly or indirectly involved with the fight or events leading up to it, attempted murder is NOT an acceptable response or reaction to it.
