To me, the bigger question for the Lucky Bitches was getting C. Benson in the 2nd round. He just signed a contract, so by the time he starts playing, the Bitches should have DFL locked up.Quote:

THis many people with teams takes all the fun out of free agency!
No way Hines Ward is a worse pick than Bettis. Bettis is not even a starter at his position.
Hines Ward was definitely a worse pick than Bettis...by taking Ward first, that might get you 7 tds if you're lucky out of Pittsburgh's run-oriented offense (Ward had only 4 last year), compared to the 40 or so Manning should put up, and the 20 or so Tomlinson should put up (those are normally the consensus first two picks in the draft, in whatever order). Bettis will probably be the starter from week 2 til possibly 5 while Staley still recovers from knee surgery, because the Steelers plan to bring him along slowly.
