well said Quotox!!
I consider myself a spiritual person, and not so much a religious person. I do find truth in a variety of faiths, yet don't adhere to any particular one. This works well for me.

Most people who are 'saved' didn't HAVE to pay a lot of money to be saved. People who are 'clear', probably spent thousands and thousands of dollars on all kinds of books and classes in order to become 'clear'.Quote:

Of course most 'saved' christians end up spending thousands MORE dollars after being saved.. in tithes and missions and so forth. So maybe those born again christian fellas are a bit pikeyish too.

I've been turned down by scientologists twice, once on the street after their 'I'd like to ask you three questions' and the second time after taking their mammoth quiz. I guess my answers were either so good or bad that I was beyond their capacity to help me.
The first time was funny, I'd seen them ask people their questions and then direct them off to some centre where they'd take the second mammoth sized test and then I suppose be brainwashed. After my 3 questions the guy thanked me and moved on. I was insulted. The second time I was with with a friend of mine and we were at a loose end and decided to see what it was all about. We even answered the questions honestly. Did they offer to clean our souls, oh no. Bastards.
So I'm not worth saving am I? Well fuck you L.Ron Hubbard, fuck you!!! I'll start my own god damned church and then we'll see who's saved. And don't think being dead will save you from my wrath. I'll hunt down every last trace of your ashes and piss on them, gargle with you and spit you into Tom Cruises gaping asshole. I'll teach you to treat me like that you fucker.

PS. Still up for it Kraxe? been a coupla years since we thought about it..
I could be wrong, but I remember hearing(somewhere) years ago that it only takes something like 20 people to form a "legitimate" religion. Perhaps it would be more apropriate to say "officially recognized".
I'm not sure what makes one legitimate or official or what that really means. I know the big issue the Scientologist deal with is tax concerns. When the US federal government recognizes a church as official it gains a status that allows them to avoid certain tax liabilities and to hold property in certain ways that other organizations cannot. For example, a church can be the beneficiary of a trust for as long as there are assets in the trust which could be from here to dooms day.
Scientologist argue they are an official church. IRS has repeatedly said you look more like, act more like and behave more like a business.
So I'm not sure what makes one official, but I suspect if Kraxe and Thaurn are going to start a church... they wait a few years and then start forcing their members to buy the books from them for the low cost of $100 per volume. And to reach nirvana (?) you'll have to buy the whole 30 volume set.
Nah, our overheads are tiny. All online you see. And at a dollar a blessing who can go wrong. The only expensive stuff is sainthood, and that's only cause you also have to buy the beatification pack, however we do only require the one miracle and have a list of several easy to verify ones for a very small extra cost. We even offer an interest free easy payment plan!
It sounds like you have already figured out the Miricle of MasterCard and Visa. I am in awe of you St. Kraxe the Credittaker.
