Speaking of extensions, anyone came across an extension that stops window/tab resizing? Pleeeeease?
First off I have to say that I'm -exceptionally- happy that I've made the switch. It's been going on 2 months now that I've given up IE in favor of Firefox, and boy am I a happy camper. Yay!
I did, however, get really annoyed that when I would click on a link, let's say something posted here on the forums, it would open a new instance of Firefox. Thanks to the "Single Window" link that Nazon posted in this thread, I'm now completely satisfied. I also had to go ahead and get the "Close tab on double click" link he posted as well, everything is complete. One extension that I really really like is the smooth scrolling mousewheel option, which can be found Here!
I never use the sliders on the right and use my mousewheel religiously, so this help make things, well, smoother! I like lots. It sorta reminds me of something like the tilt-a-whirl at a carnival, because of my wheel sensitivity, as you kinda see the scrolling come to a slow hault.
Does anyone use the mouse gestures extension at all?
There's three on the site and I'm curious if anyone has any input on which is the best?

i have never seen the need for mouse gestures unless you have a disability or other impairment. this might stem from the fact that i hate having to switch to my mouse when a keyboard alternative is unavailable or extremely inconvenient. i gladly move from mouse to keyboard at any given point.
Damn, that's a pretty cruel burn on Khirmint.Quote:

What are you implying about the guy, Karahd? Hmmmmmmmmmm?
:eek :eek :eek :eek :eek
I have tried the mouse gestures in one of the previous versions of FF and I couldn't get used to them... And since my mouse has forwad and back buttons I don't really have the need. It is an interesting concept though. :)
Also, the single window extension I have mentioned previously has been replaced by Tab Clicking Options in the newer versions of FF.
THought you might find this tip on speeding up FIREFOX in broadband environments interesting:
