Week 6 Results
Deokoria’s Misfits VS Serith’s Christ Punchers
The Punchers (4-2-0) took one right to the ball sack this week as the Misfits (2-4-0) shocked the world by stealing a 52.19 to 27.73 victory. Punchers fans were stunned this week by almost nonexistent production from two of the team’s most productive players: Donovan McNabb and Rudi Johnson. Neither of them could break the three point barrier this week. Meanwhile Leftwich, on the Punchers bench, almost outscored their starters with 27.21 points. McGahee, also on the bench, was the Punchers most productive RB. Maybe the management should have given the Carolina pass defense a little respect (they are one of the best pass defenses in the league after all) and starting a kicker that wasn’t on a bye could have helped their cause a little as well. The Misfits score their second upset of the season despite having the fewest total points in the league and move back into tenth. With the loss the Punchers fall two places into third. Next week the Misfits look to score a less shocking upset as they face the GiMets, while the Punchers look to bounce back from an utterly humiliating loss (can you say OUCH?) as they face the Shock.
Falix’s PowderPuffs VS Isaviel’s Blitzat1
The Blitz’s (4-2-0) win streak ended after the Puffs (5-1-0) exploded on them 108.25 to 67.05. The Puffs cashed in on Garcia (24.17), the Eagles defense (20.00), Martin (18.55), Driver (17.50), and A. Davis (10.95). Nobody in the league would have beaten the Puffs this week, who reclaim first place in a huge bounce back from last week’s debacle. With their second loss of the season the Blitz plummet to sixth. Next week the Puffs face the Pokeys, while the Blitz hope to have an easier time against the Dogs.
Gadiantor’s Gridiron Gorians VS Pyryth’s Pokeys
The Gorians (1-5-0) got their first win of the season in impressive fashion this week as they stuck it to the Pokeys (2-4-0) by a score of 81.58 to 43.67. With the emergence of Droughns (15 points this week) the Gorians look like they have found some production at RB. The Pokeys got good results from Suggs (9.95) and Alexander (11.35) at running back, but only got 6.05 points from their entire WR corps of Gardner, S. Moss (who didn’t play), and Porter (who had negative points due to a fumble). With the win the Gorians claw out of DFL into eleventh, while the Pokeys cling to eighth despite the loss. Next week the Gorians hope to turn the win into a streak with an upset of the Buttheads, and the Pokeys hope to deflate the Puffs.
Vin’s Buttheads VS Liathano’s Discovery Channel
DC (4-2-0) rode the wave of the Vikings offense; Culpepper (35.15), Robinson (13.60), and Moore (9.35); en route to an 88.35 to 69.30 victory. With the win DC leaps back into second place, while dropping the Buttheads to fourth. For the second week in a row DC scored 88, holding on to the point lead (proving that one player can make a team if he (Culpepper) is good enough). Next week DC enjoy the luxury of facing the Bitches, while the Buttheads try to keep the Gorians from getting another win.
Sebboe’s Seizuredogs VS Darsoini’s Shellshock
The Dogs (2-4-0) snapped a three game skid as they brought the Shock (3-3-0) back to earth after last week’s upset victory. With the 54.89 to 43.13 victory the Dogs are able to hold ninth, and the loss holds the Shock in seventh. Neither team moved in the standings, and both have tough games next week. The Dogs will face a Blitz team looking to start another winning streak, and the Shock face the Punchers who are going to come out swinging after a pitiful showing this week.
Wrent’s Lucky Bitches VS Xenoroyal’s New York GiMets
The GiMets (4-2-0) are now the hottest team in the league with a three game win streak as they mercifully put the Bitches (1-5-0) down 74.65 to 54.79. The victory helped the GiMets climb one spot to fifth, while the Bitches are back where they rightfully belong, DFL. Next week the GiMets face another soft opponent in the Misfits, so we fully expect them to take a four game win streak into week eight. The Bitches face DC, so unless Culpepper forgets to show up to the game the Bitches will be staying in the basement.
Awesome recap! :)
I just came to check the recaps and realized I had to wait another night yet. :crying
Byron Leftwich is on the trade block for anyone interested (Especially those who have shitty qb's!!!) Drop me a PM, or mudmail, or something.
Falix’s PowderPuffs VS Pyryth’s Pokeys
In the nail-biter of the week it came down to just 1.6 points. The Puffs (6-1) barely escaped an upset by the Pokeys (2-5) by a score of 70.66 to 69.06. The Puffs owe the victory to the arm of Manning (25.36) while the Pokeys just fell short on cashing in on a 27 point performance from the Baltimore defense. The Puffs not only hang on to first, but recapture the point lead for the season with the win, making them the most dominant team in the league through the first half of the season. The hard fought loss dropped the Pokeys one place into ninth, continuing their steady decline from fourth place in week one and bringing their losing streak to four.
Xenoroyal’s New York GiMets VS Deokoria’s Misfits
Holy mother of pearl, the Misfits (3-4) decided to show up and play this week! For the second week in a row the Misfits were able to post an upset as they decimated the GiMets (4-3) in a 75.17 to 38.49 shellacking. The Misfits posted their most impressive numbers of the season off of a dominating running showing from their starters, Holmes (31.00) and Smith (12.80). The GiMets can contribute their worst showing of the season to an injury to McNair, who left the game after posting only .04 of a point. With the win the Misfits jump two spots into eighth and despite having the lowest point total in the league for the fifth straight week they are starting to be taken seriously by some of the league. The GiMets fall only one place, into sixth with the loss.
Serith’s Christ Punchers VS Drasoini’s Shellshock
The Punchers (5-2) KOed the Shock (3-4) 80.07 to 66.35 in a rebound from last week’s record setting worst performance. McNabb (30.92) did a majority of the work for the Punchers who remain in third with the victory. For the fourth week in a row the Shock are in seventh place despite the loss.
Gadiantor’s Gridiron Gorians VS Vin’s Buttheads
The Buttheads (5-2) doused the Gorian’s (1-6) flames 71.80 to 61.30 and kept them from heating up after their first win last week. The Buttheads cling to fourth with the victory, while the Gorians remain in eleventh.
Wrent’s Lucky Bitches VS Liathano’s Discovery Channel
DC (5-2) tried to lose this one, but the Bitches (1-6) were too pathetic to take advantage. DC tried to capitalize on the high octane Vikings offense by playing four Minnesota starters: Culpepper (9.86), Robinson (7.65), Moore (8.40), and Wiggins (1.80). Fortunately for DC the Bitches had five starters under one point: Atlanta defense (-2.00), Kinney (0.00), Wheatley (0.00), Terrell (0.00), and Holt (0.20). The battle of ‘who wants to lose it more’ ended with the Bitches capturing a well earned loss, 49.36 to 56.31. DC holds steady in second while the Bitches wallow in DFL for the fifth week this season.
Sebboe’s Seizuredogs VS Isaviel’s Blitzat1
In the most anemic offensive showing of the week it was the Blitz (5-2) over the Dogs (2-5) 51.68 to 39.69. The only player to score double digits on either team was Akers (12.00). The Blitz were able to move up one spot to fifth with the win, while the Dogs drop one into tenth.
Falix’s PowderPuffs (6-1) VS Vin’s Buttheads (5-2)
In the marquee game of the week we’ll see the number one Puffs take on the fourth place Buttheads. The Puffs are the overwhelming favorite, but the Buttheads would have bested the Puffs this past week, and in week five. Both teams have solid lineups for the game, and this one could go down to the wire. Can the Puffs win another close one to remain the top dog? We think so.
Serith’s Christ Punchers (5-2) VS Isaviel’s Blitzat1 (5-2)
At first glance it looks like this should be the Punchers game to lose. The Blitz are the worst of the 5-2 teams, and the Punchers have over 70 more points on the season. Countering this weighty reality is the fact that the Blitz would have beaten the Punchers three out of the last four weeks. The Punchers heaviest hitter, McNabb, is going to be facing the tough Baltimore defense, while the Blitz will have Warner against the porous Vikings pass defense. I’m picking the Blitz management to continue a magnificent rookie season by beating the Punchers and getting back into a playoff spot.
Xenoroyal’s New York GiMets (4-3) VS Liathano’s Discovery Channel (5-2)
DC has put up over 100 more points than the GiMets this season. Enough said. DC is our lock of the week!
Drasoini’s Shellshock (3-4) VS Deokoria’s Misfits (3-4)
The Shock are in a bad spot this week, as they have no viable option at QB with Bulger on a bye. Next week the Misfits are going to win, but it won’t be an upset this time. That is unless of course the Shock are able to deal for Leftwich who is being offered up for trade consideration.
Sebboe’s Seizuredogs (2-5) VS Pyryth’s Pokeys (2-5)
The Pokeys have outscored the Dogs four out of seven weeks. This is a pretty even match up of two sub-standard teams, but the Pokeys have a slight edge, so we’re going to predict them breaking their four game losing streak next week, and send the Dogs down to the basement.
Gadiantor’s Gridiron Gorians (1-6) VS Wrent’s Lucky Bitches (1-6)
No amount of hype could get anyone to care about this game. Nobody will openly admit to being a fan of either team, so at least we’ll be safe from riots and looting when this one is over. The Gorians have managed to consistently put up solid numbers. The Bitches had a flash of brilliance in week three, putting up 91.66 points, but would have lost to the Gorians in any other week. The Bitches will be without Torry Holt and Willy Green for the match-up, and there is little help from the Bitches bench. The Gorians should capture their second win of the season next week.
Strange stat: Next week we have seventh vs eighth, ninth vs tenth, and eleventh vs twelfth. Also, four of the six games feature teams with identical records, and the remaining two games the underdog could pull even with a win.

Great games. I predict high viewer ratings!
Falix’s PowderPuffs VS Vin’s Buttheads
As predicted the Puffs (6-2) remain number one, but not as expected. The Buttheads (6-2) set a new record for the most points in a week en route to a huge 108.33 to 82.79. The previous mark was 108.25, set by the Puffs. The victory moves the Buttheads up one spot to number three, while the Puffs hold on to the number one spot by virtue of the point lead on the season. Solid performances by Plummer (28.23), A. Green (19.18), J. Brown (12.00), Owens (11.05), Lelie (10.70, and the Philly D (10.00). Next week it is first meets worst as the Puffs take on the Bitches. Meanwhile the Buttheads will face the
Serith’s Christ Punchers VS Isaviel’s Blitzat1
The Blitz (6-2) broke back into the top four with a 65.88 to 39.78 drubbing of the Punchers (5-3-0). With the loss the Punchers fall out of the top four for the first time this season, and currently sit in fifth. The Blitz owe the victory to a complete lack of production from T. Jones (.05) and the New England D (-1.00), as well as low scoring amongst Chambers, Stokley, Ward, and Wiggins. All were under four points for the week. Next week the Punchers are sure to come out swinging against the Pokeys, while the Blitz face a Shock team on a three game skid.
Drasoini’s Shellshock VS Deokoria’s Misfits
The Misfits (4-4) decided they like winning apparently! They absolutely DESTROYED the Shock (3-5) 106.67 to 35.65. Brees (36.67) and Holmes (27.25) led the way for the Misfits, while the Shock put in Maddox at QB, a guy who had about as much chance at seeing the field as I have of having a threesome with Cameron Diez and Drew Berrymoore. Maddox (0.00), J. Lewis (0.00), Mare (0.00), and the Miami D (-3.00) all either didn’t play, or shouldn’t have! The win vaults the Misfits into seventh, while the Shock fall to ninth. Next week the Misfits look to prove that their three straight wins (and four in the last five weeks) aren’t flukes as they face DC in what could be a close game given the DC slump of late. The Shock will try to pull our of their slump as they face the Blitz.
Xenoroyal’s New York GiMets VS Liathano’s Discovery Channel
In the ‘Lock of the Week’ match-up it was DC (6-2) securing the victory, but they were only able to best the GiMets (4-4) 70.72 to 65.21 (the smallest margin of victory...they couldn’t even cover the spread!). DC just wasn’t firing on all pistons with Cullpepper (6.22) and the rest of team just not hitting on all cylinders. Next week DC hopes to look more convincing as they face a resurgent Misfit team, and the GiMets will face the Gorians.
Sebboe’s Seizuredogs VS Pyryth’s Pokeys
The Pokeys (3-5) kept the Dogs (2-6) chained up on their way to an 87.12 to 73.08. The win moves the Pokeys up a spot, while the Dogs fall one to eleventh. Next week the Dogs take on the Buttheads, and the Pokeys hope to keep it rolling when they take on the Christ Punchers, who have looked vulnerable latey.
Gadiantor’s Gridiron Gorians VS Wrent’s Lucky Bitches
The two worst teams squared off, and it was the Gorians (2-6) over the Bitches (1-7). The 61.32 to 42.58 win was about as exciting as swingers night at the nursing home. The Gorians go on to face the GiMets next week, and the Bitches prepare to get abused by the number one Puffs.
It hurts, the bad coaching it does...
